A few social problems in today's world

7. There are many social problems today that affect our society. What are some of these problems?

One of the social problems that affect our society is political stability. Political instability causes foreign investors to not want to come here to invest money in our country. They would rather choose other countries with a more stable political situation to invest their money in. Political instability causes our exchange rate to fluctuate. Items are charged with an unreasonable amount of tax. We, the innocent civilians do not know where does all that money go to. I am guessing that the people in the government are pocketing the money. That is why the price of all the items are increasing significantly due to the implementation of GST. Even though the taxes are charged we do not see much improvement of the countries infrastructure. Workers pay do not increase even though the prices of items are increasing. The standard of living is increasing day by day. Therefore, if possible, many people in our country want to migrate to other countries to make a living there. Many Malaysians have already migrated to countries like Australia, the United Kingdom America or even Singapore. Not only they do get paid more there they show back to work performance over there due to the environment and efficiency of other workers around them. Their work is also more appreciated in other countries there for pushing them to strive for further achievements. They have more potential to spread their wings and make full use of their talent overseas.

Other social problems include religious intolerance, drug addiction, the crime rate and so on.
As for the crime rate in Malaysia, it is getting worse day by day, especially in the metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur. Children and young women become the main targets of crime such as robbery, kidnapping, molesting, scam and others. There are many cases of women getting molested in public areas, mainly in public transport. There are also cases of children getting kidnapped and the kidnapper calling their parents, asking for a ridiculous amount of ransom. There are also many online scam taboos going around lately. One type of online scared that happens very often is from online shopping. People who claim to be sellers receive payment but do not send the item to the buyer as described.
