11. There is an orientation programme for international students who are going to study in Malaysia. Suggest various activities to help the students get to know Malaysia better.
Malaysia is a country filled with many tourist attractions. Whether it be food or historical sites, there are things that tourists will enjoy in our country. One of the activities that will help the international students get to know Malaysia better is by going sightseeing around popular and historical places in Malaysia. We can take them on a tour around historical places such as the famous Kota A' Famosa located in Melaka, Fort Cornwallis in Penang and also the internationally recognised Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur which is the fourth tallest building in the world. When visiting these places, the international students will be able to learn more about these places and how they were built. They will also be able to understand the hardship faced by the people building the structure and also be able to understand the reason why the structure was built in the first place.
Besides that, they can also tour around the country, learning the culture of the diverse community here in Malaysia and also be able to enjoy the different types of food available thanks to the diverse community with different style of cooking. The international students will be able to understand the community here better when they learn the culture of the people here. They will be able to know which actions are acceptable here and others which should be avoided to avoid any misunderstanding such as the incident involving five Australians stripping at Mount Kinabalu. Furthermore, they will be able to learn new languages are used to converse with each other in Malaysia such as the Malay and Mandarin languages and not to mention the Indian language as well to make new and unforgetable friends here.
Regarding to that, they and also enjoy a different kind of experience in the form of a 'Homestay'. The 'Homestay' experience will help open them to what a normal life in Malaysia would be with hosts who are usually locals. The 'Homestay' experience would be the definitive experience with a serene and calming scenery. Overall, Malaysia is a country chock full of many interesting and captivating sights and experience.

Ways to prepare for a job interview
12. You are preparing for your first job interview. There are many things you should do. What are some of these?
Most of the time when we apply for a job, we are required to go through one or more rounds of interviews. Therefore, we must make some preparations beforehand so that we can ace it.
Most of the time when we apply for a job, we are required to go through one or more rounds of interviews. Therefore, we must make some preparations beforehand so that we can ace it.
Firstly, we should do a background check on the company such as it's history. By doing so, we could understand better about the company we want to engage in for a long time, especially since you will be devoting your time providing and contributing your service to them. Next, we should follow their instructions or criteria. For examples, if they want a certain thing listed in your curriculum vitae (CV) then you should list it out, especially if they have provided a certain format.
Other than that, we should dress appropriately. This is to ensure our outfit for the occasion is appropriate. For example, don't wear casual clothes such as jeans and t-shirts but semi formal clothes such as button up collared shirts with slacks or straight skirts. With that said, we should make a good first impression because first impressions lasts. We should greet the interviewers with a warm smile and be polite.
We should also practice practice practice because practice makes perfect. By looking up common questions thrown by interviewers, we can handle them much better because we already have the answer ready in our minds. On of the most important things is also punctuality. If you are not punctual, you are not respecting other people's time. Therefore, we should get everything done beforehand. Get your outfit put together the night before, pack everything necessary before you leave, and most importantly get enough sleep wake up on time so that you will look fresh in the morning.
Last but not least, we must always be honest because we are selling ourselves for the job. Nobody wants to work with someone dishonest that they can't trust because when we work, we depend on other people too.
Ways to overcome barriers to tourism in Malaysia
10. You and your friends would like to offer some ideas on how to overcome barriers to tourism in Malaysia.
Malaysia’s Ringgit plunged below four to the US dollar for the first time since 1998 amid lower oil prices and unabating political issues but it’s a good thing, according to tourism and culture minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, who said that the tumbling Ringgit will favour the local tourism industry.
Well, in theory, a weaker currency should encourage overseas tourists with stronger currencies to spend their money here. It should also encourage everyday folks like you and I to holiday domestically, as overseas vacations are just too expensive now. But real-life statistics suggest differently.
In fact, our tourism industry has pretty much been going down the drain. Some 27.4 million people visited Malaysia in 2014, but that number of tourist arrivals in Malaysia has seen a 30% drop in the last six months alone, according to the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA).
The real questions is – what has gone wrong? Why are tourists not coming? The first reason tourists are not coming to Malaysia is the lack of marketing effort to promote the country. We do not have a strong ambassador to promote the country and its assets such as the food, culture, beautiful beaches, exotic fruits, large shopping malls, education and many more other assets. We have a big advantage as people in Malaysia are multilingual. Malaysian people are able to speak many languages such as English, Mandarin, Malay, or even Japanese
Our ability to speak many languages makes us able to cater to to tourists from places like China, The United States of America, Europe or anywhere else in the whole wide world. However, we lack publicity worldwide. We need to step up our game in doing advertisements. With the availability of social media in the 21st century, doing advertisement is not a difficult thing because we can just upload pictures and market our country on social media. We can also easily make friends online through applications such as hello pal and encourage friends from other countries to come to visit our country.
Neighbouring countries like Thailand are doing a great job in marketing their durian. Where is Philippines is doing a good job in marketing your mango and exporting dried mangoes to other countries. Singapore also the exports durian to other countries and claim that it is made in Singapore. In fact, our country, Malaysia has a massive supply of scrumptious durians like Musang King, D24, D101 and others. Even the cheap durian here is more tasty than the durian in Thailand. We do have top class quality mango here too. We also have coconuts that taste amazing. The only problem is that our country failed to market our delicious fruits to other countries or encourage tourists to come here and try the fruits on their own to get a taste of it in person to see how delicious it actually is.

Teachers who deserve the Special Teacher Award
6. You are in the selection committee for the Special Teacher Award in conjunction with the Teacher's Day celebration. Which kind of teacher should be given the award?
As many might already know, Teachers’ Day is just around the corner, students in charged for this special day are cracking their head in order to come out with titles for students to vote for their beloved teachers. The title I came up with is the “All Rounder Teacher”. This is because I believe that there isn’t many teachers who are all rounder. The fun teachers usually do not produce many A students, the teachers producing many A students usually aren’t the students favourite. Therefore, it is not fair to come up with a title which can be easily be won by any teacher. An “All Rounder Teacher” is a teacher who can be strict when she wants to at the same time she can be fun too. You might be wondering, “How do one balance their teachings this way?”, the question is simply easy, Teachers like these are usually a crowd’s favourite and are usually highly respected by others. This is because students know when they can have fun in class but at the same time they would not try to push their teachers’ buttons because they know that they have a limit. A caring character also makes up to this title. Why would one like a teacher when he or she is cold hearted? Teachers who are caring are able to give a warm feeling to the students. School may not be home, we students tend to feel awkward in school and would be terrified to voice out if there is something going on whether is it having difficulties catching up with studies, or being abused at home. However, students are able to open up to caring teachers as they know that they are able to trust them and they will most likely feel like there is still someone who believes in them and cares about them. Usually, caring teachers would be more than happy to help by pouring love and support on their students. I strongly believe a teacher who has all the above aspects should win for the “All Rounder Teacher” award. Vote now and show your love and support for them as well. Without them, we wouldn’t be here today.

Ways to overcome disciplinary problems in schools
4. How can disciplinary problems in schools be solved? Propose a few ways to solve the problem.
When we are in school, the guidance from teacher and friends shapes us. Therefore, school plays an important role when handling the peers 's problems especially disciplinary problems.Every school has one or more disciplinary teachers. Although their role is focused on the discipline of the students, everyone else also play an important role in solving the discipline problems.

Because students are closer to their friends, it is easier for them to accept the advice rather than from teachers or anyone else. For example, a friend can sit down and talk together about each others' problems and take advice from each other because they are more comfortable. Next, children should have proper guidance since young because they build their traits young. If they have proper guidance since young, then they will be able to guide themselves correctly as they grow up because they can differentiate right from wrong, and good from bad. We can ensure that by instilling good moral values and discipline since young. This can be done simply by letting them read stories with good moral values in them such as The Boy Who Cried Wolf that teaches us to not lie and always be honest to avoid future problems, The Tortoise and Hare that teaches us to not be arrogant because anyone can beat us even if their chances are slim.
Other than that, we should not treat take their problems lightly because it might or might have been built up since young and the problems will get bigger. We should get to the root of the problem and tackle from there. Although this might take a long time for them to open up, we will be able to solve the problem more effectively than just punishing them each time for their mistakes because they will be misunderstood and keep living in their own agonizing pain away from everyone else.
Last but not least, we should keep an eye out for them. We should always pay attention to their every action so that we can detect more easily when there are changes in their behavior. Therefore, we can get to the problem faster before it gets out of control. We should be patient when trying to help them because they have already isolated themselves from everyone especially if you are trying to help them because they are afraid you might hurt them.
A useful skill
5. If you were given the opportunity to learn one skill free of charge, what skill do you think would be useful to you?
If I was given the opportunity to learn one skill for free of charge, I would love to learn different languages. Being a multilingual is what I have always wanted to be. The languages of my choice would be French. I chose French because it is one of languages which is highly in demand now and it is also because I can speak and understand the other two important international languages, English and Mandarin. Knowing different languages do bring many advantages. It not only allows us to mix around and communicate with people from other countries but also increase our knowledge. With being able to speak various languages, we’re able to travel around the world without the help of a tour guide or the burden of bringing a dictionary along with us. Being able to speak and understand English, Mandarin and French is just like icing on the cake because they are international languages and commonly used in the economic world. Most people do not believe that Mandarin is important but I do not agree with it. This is because China’s economic world is growing in a blink of an eye. It might eventually be the world’s most advance country. If it’s so, China will play a very big part in not only our country but also the entire world’s economy. Without say, people will start vending into China and the competition there will grow. Everyone can be smart academically but China will not employ you if you can’t speak nor understand a single Mandarin word. You might be thinking on why would I choose to learn French then, when France is not near close to China in the economical world, my answer will be because, many people especially teenagers in the United States of America are learning French in their high school years. We might not know what might happen in 10 years time, maybe a leader or a big well known company’s boss speaks French. The world is becoming more competitive day by day. We shouldn’t take a chance and risk our future or lower the chances of getting a good pay job just because we do not speak the languages they do. Work smart, play safe.

A few social problems in today's world
7. There are many social problems today that affect our society. What are some of these problems?
One of the social problems that affect our society is political stability. Political instability causes foreign investors to not want to come here to invest money in our country. They would rather choose other countries with a more stable political situation to invest their money in. Political instability causes our exchange rate to fluctuate. Items are charged with an unreasonable amount of tax. We, the innocent civilians do not know where does all that money go to. I am guessing that the people in the government are pocketing the money. That is why the price of all the items are increasing significantly due to the implementation of GST. Even though the taxes are charged we do not see much improvement of the countries infrastructure. Workers pay do not increase even though the prices of items are increasing. The standard of living is increasing day by day. Therefore, if possible, many people in our country want to migrate to other countries to make a living there. Many Malaysians have already migrated to countries like Australia, the United Kingdom America or even Singapore. Not only they do get paid more there they show back to work performance over there due to the environment and efficiency of other workers around them. Their work is also more appreciated in other countries there for pushing them to strive for further achievements. They have more potential to spread their wings and make full use of their talent overseas.
Other social problems include religious intolerance, drug addiction, the crime rate and so on.
As for the crime rate in Malaysia, it is getting worse day by day, especially in the metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur. Children and young women become the main targets of crime such as robbery, kidnapping, molesting, scam and others. There are many cases of women getting molested in public areas, mainly in public transport. There are also cases of children getting kidnapped and the kidnapper calling their parents, asking for a ridiculous amount of ransom. There are also many online scam taboos going around lately. One type of online scared that happens very often is from online shopping. People who claim to be sellers receive payment but do not send the item to the buyer as described.

Causes of stress
1. Many teenagers today are stressed out because of various factors. What do you think is a major cause of stress to teenagers?
According to studies, teenagers these days are more likely to be stressed out than teenagers back then. Today we are going to be talking about the causes of these stress to teens and the effects it can have on them. First off, the major cause of stress to teenagers in my opinion is the expectations and responsibilities placed onto them by their parents. Teenagers are always expected to score well in their examinations until the grades they get for their exams become more important than actually studying. They lose interest in studying which just spoils the whole purpose of it in the first place and instead focus more on memorizing facts from their textbook just so that they can pass their exams with flying colors. Some of them do not even truly understand what they are actually learning about in school and what is the use these precious knowledge to them in the future. Teenagers who have siblings got it worse as they will be constantly compared to all the time. This could even lead to them hating their siblings as they will feel like they are never good enough because of them. Other than that, teenagers are also expected to stay healthy, have a great social life, get enough sleep, excel in sports et cetera but how do parents expect these kinds of things to happen if the kids are always required to outshine the rest in everything they do. This puts a lot of pressure on teenagers to cope up with everything. Stress can be very dangerous for teenagers since not all teenagers can think rationally. There are some who cannot stand the pressure and resort to suicide to end all their problems which is a real shame that such young and gifted people in the world are ending their lives because of the pain they suffer everyday. Many other problems could arise from being stressed out not only for teenagers but to adults as well, it could cause depression, lack of motivation, and many more. Finally, stress that's left unchecked could also contribute to many health problems such as high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease and diabetes. This could increase the risks of dying at a young age so to prevent this from happening teenagers have to learn to manage their stress well.
Road bullying
2. Incidences of road bullying have increased tremendously in Malaysia. What do you think is the appropriate form of punishment for road bullies?
Road Rage in Malaysia
Road rage is aggressive or angry behavior by a driver of an automobile or other road vehicle which includes rude gestures, verbal insults, physical threats or dangerous driving methods targeted toward another driver in an effort to intimidate or release frustration. There has been many reports lately that there are lots of road bullying happening around Malaysia especially on highways which are congested. Road bullying is also a form of road rage and it is not to be taken lightly as it can be lethal if these "road bullies" cross the line and take it too far. One might then ask "How do we control our road rage?" as we know that what we give is what we get so being an a**hole to others is not going to get you anywhere, the answer is really simple be a courteous driver. Here are some steps to do just that :-
1. Control your anger.
2. Don't take traffic problems personally.
3. Avoid making eye contact with an aggressive driver.
4. Don't make obscene gestures.
5. Don't tailgate.
6. Use your horn sparingly - even a polite honk can be misinterpreted.
7. Don't block the passing lane.
8. Don't block the right turn lane.
Aggressive driving is also considered to be a type of road rage. Aggressive driving involves deliberate behaviors that put people and property at risk, such as speeding, running red lights, tailgating, cutting off other drivers, and weaving through traffic. Usually, it includes a combination (or all) of the above. If you do not care for your own life when you are on the road at least be considerate of others as they have loved ones waiting for them to come back home. Road bullying is a crime that's not been emphasized enough in the country that I live in. "Road bullies" should be jailed up just like other convicts as they are endangering the lives of others. Besides that another way to punish these drivers are to revoke or suspend their driver's license so that they have to go through the test again and reflect on their actions

Talk on stress
8. Your school is planning a talk for young people. You have been asked to suggest a suitable topic for the talk.
If our school is planning on having a talk, I suggest that the topic of the talk should be about stress. Stress is a very common thing that the younger generation experiences nowadays, especially teenagers. Stress can be a handful to them because they have been living a stress free life from when they were born all the way up to 12 to 14 years old. Then, stress slowly starts creeping up to them from the more taxing assignments given by teachers in secondary schools that have to be completed while they have to participate in co-curricular activities and attend extra tuition classes. The need to juggle time well was never there before and it just makes an entrance in their lives all of a sudden. Some good students may be able to cope with everything well but there are students who can't handle all of the new responsibilities and they get stressed. Not to mention that parents have expectations for us to do very well in our examinations since we have to get good results in high school to get into a good college and proceed to a good university to be able to get a good job and make good money. The talk should give teenagers some tips to reduce their stress levels. One of them could be better time management which most teenagers lack as they have been living a laid back life until they entered high school. Better time management means more time for relaxation, no need to rush and more sleep which all lower stress. Exercise can also be introduced into teenagers lives as most teenagers in Malaysia are either overweight or obese, not that they can help it since the food of our culture can be quite unhealthy. The exercise can lower stress and also produce healthier teens which is important for them as well. Teens prioritize their looks and they enjoy being called handsome or pretty and having a healthy body will help in that aspect. Their self esteem will be higher and they will not be as self conscious as they were when they were overweight. This will also help overcome bullying problems if they were teased for being fat. All in all, I am sure that a talk about stress will have many benefits for the students attending the talk.

The benefits of the National Service to its participants
8. The National Service has proven to be good for the youth in our country. In what ways has it benefitted the participants?
There has been an increase of delinquent teenagers in this day and age. The rise in this behavior is due to bad influence and in some cases, bad parenting. Almost everyone has a handheld electronic gadget nowadays due to the convenience they provide us in our everyday lives. This has enabled teenagers to access the vast and infinite space of the Internet to do whatever they please with it. This can bring about some unnecessary information and videos being absorbed into their minds. This can cause changes in their way of thinking and actions. This lack of discipline is one of the things that can be fixed with National Service(NS). One of the many benefits of NS is that it teaches the younger generation the importance of discipline.
